How JEE and NEET Aspirants can use these Lockdown months effectively without getting sluggish?

Introduction

Hello all of you? How's Your Lockdown period going Guys? Things have changed a lot for all the aspirants. The Lockdown in itself is a big challenge to keep a stable mental health at all the times. It's even more challenging for aspirants who have put all their effort and have given a lot sacrifices to prepare for the exams and now they are stuck in a no man's land.

I can understand how difficult and frustating this period might be for them. When most of aspirants have completely avoided social media during their preparation, now are losing the focus by wasting a lot of time on social media due to uncertainity about any thing. It is all the more difficult to continue with the same flow of problem solving for so long and without assurance that the exam will be conducted any time sooner. A lot of students are facing problems about many things. About how to maintain the mental strength, how to keep confidence and a lot more... I will try to help you deal with all of them and to keep you all motivated and engaged.

JEE-Mains and NEET Aspirants:-

I know all of you have a lot of questions going through your head and you must be wondering about a lot things.Don't worry I will try to cover all of the coming to your questions and even after that any question arises you can comment below i will try to help you through that as well.

So let's Begin:-

How to maintain the same flow of problem solving without getting discouraged? How to not lose confidence in the long term?

To begin with I know how you all are feeling.I have gone through the JEE time. I know how desparate I was to get all the Papers done. Although that time things were certain and now it's uncertain which is making it way way more difficult.I will try to come to the latter part of the question first then i will move to the former. You must noticed and understood till now that confidence plays a major role(apart from studies) in these competitive exams. Let's say if you know 70-75% syllabus and are confident then my friend i can bet you will better than students who know more than you but lack in confidence in themselves.Having Confidence will make a lot of difference and the challenge is even bigger now, you need to keep it going through with you.I will tell you some ways in which you can continue to be confident or gain confidence.

So,confidence comes from self belief so you need to solve questions which are relatively easier or try to solve previous year paper which you have already solved.Trust Me when i say this solving questions give a boost to mind and it feels that it can handle any problem. This is same strategy used by me before going in for tests. So,keep this in mind do relatively easier problems or try to solve previous year paper. To keep the flow going you will need to solve atleast 40-45 questions daily as of now and revise your notes like 2-3 Chapters per Day. To keep the mental strength going strong , you need to exercise atleast once in a day,you can also give fix amount of time to things that give you pleasure and happiness be it gaming or painting, and also you should talk to your elders and other people so that you can share what thoughts you are having. As we know Tough times don't last, Tough people do!

I know you are engaged in social media and started wasting your time there. What can be done about it?How to select questions to solve each day?

Now, We all know social media is quite addicting but what if i tell you you can use the power to your benefits? Sounds Interesting? There is an online platform which is like social media but is for aspirants like you all.The name of the App/Website is GradeUp. I myself was addicted to social media back then but as soon as i tried this application i thought that instead of wasting time there why not use it in a constructing way. GradeUp is beneficial to both NEET and JEE-Mains aspirants. It has lot many features. No I am not sponsored by the app but because as i have used it myself,I am saying this to you.You will easily get your daily questions for solving. You can discuss doubts on the platform.Enough of GradeUp for now.Other but less interactive online platform for Aspirants is Embibe. Apart from all this, guys i know that some days the efficiency will not be good but don't be too hard on yourself, say to yourself that it is fine to have less efficient day/days and you can even to talk to your parents or friends and feel light. Do try to involve physical activities in you day to day basis like Yoga or some exercises.

After you start with you flow again try to attempt JEE/NEET papers online that would also help in keeping the flow with actual amount of amount of sitting you would be needed to give in the paper..Lastly,I would say to JEE-Mains Aspirants to study for JEE-Advance as well.If they have the right attitude and routine for next two months they can crack JEE-Advance.

A Small Note to Parents of the Aspirants:-

Please try to talk to help frequently and ask them to share every problem with you. Many of the students keep their problem to themselves but that will only create more burden over them. Please try to be a little more patient and cheerful towards your kids. This will release a lot of pressure from them and they will definitely perform better. Also do some activities with them like playing ludo on board or some other games.
